FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

After your session, you’ll receive a personal online gallery with 45 to 50 professionally edited, high-resolution photos. The number of images delivered may vary slightly depending on the type of session booked. Your gallery will be easy to view, download, and share with loved ones, making it simple to enjoy your memories for years to come.

How should we dress for our family session?

For your family session, we recommend wearing neutral, solid-colored outfits in soft tones like beige, nutruels, warmer colors, or pastels. Keep it simple—avoid bold patterns, logos, or busy prints, as they can distract from the connection and faces in your photos. Coordinated but not matching outfits work best, and layering with simple textures can add depth without overpowering the image. The goal is to keep the focus on your family and the moments you share.

What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?

The best time to have an in-home session with a newborn is typically within the first 5 to 14 days after birth. During this window, babies are usually sleepier, more curled up, and easier to pose, which makes for those peaceful, snuggly shots.

In terms of time of day, late morning (around 10 AM to noon) usually works best. By then, there’s often good natural light coming through windows, and parents have had a bit of time to settle into the day. That said, comfort and flexibility are key—sessions can be adjusted based on your baby’s feeding and sleep schedule.
